TIMC is launching a new program called homeoprophylaxis (HP), a gentle, non-toxic way to help our children stay healthy and less likely to contract infections.
HP has been used for more than 200 years. It is similar to conventional vaccination, in the sense, that it introduces small doses of pathogens (bacteria and viruses) to “train” the immune system to respond effectively if an active pathogen is encountered. However, instead of injecting bits of bacteria, inactivated viruses and other toxic ingredients, HP utilizes homeopathic nosodes given orally. Nosodes are specially prepared diluted and succussed (agitated) preparations of infectious agents. They are so diluted that they no longer contain any measurable amounts of the actual microbes; all that remains is their energetic frequencies. Unlike vaccines, nosodes are completely safe, and gently train the immune system to learn how to respond appropriately when the treated person is exposed to microbes that could cause an illness.
Several studies have demonstrated HP to be as effective as conventional vaccination, but without the toxicity.
What pathogens are covered?
- Pertussis (whooping cough)
- Pneumococcal infections
- Haemophilus species
- Meningococcal species
- Mumps Parotitis (mumps)
- Morbillinum (measles)
(Other infections such as Influenza, chicken pox, hepatitis A and B, and rotavirus can be added to the program, if desired, at additional cost.)
What are the benefits of HP?
- Demonstrated to be effective at building resistance to infections
- NO toxic ingredients
- NO injections
- NO tears
- NO fear of doctors developed
- Program is administered at home
- Gently and naturally trains the immune system to recognize and respond to pathogens
- Some studies suggest that children undergoing HP are generally healthier overall
In addition to our program for infants and children, we also have an HP program for adolescents and college-bound students. In the future we will be adding a program for people traveling to foreign countries where they might encounter diseases such as malaria and typhoid fever.
